Fun Times in Phoenix, AZ!

Ford, Mommy, Grandma (Mary), and Aunt Katherine escaped the FREEZING cold of MN for a quick trip to AZ. We had a great weekend in Phoenix visiting lots of family. On the Townsend (paternal) side, we got to see Grandma Cory, Great Aunt Ethel, Cousin Lynn, Cousins Paul, Meredith, and Eric. On the Lapic (maternal) side, we got to visit Uncle Paul & Aunt Becky as well as Uncle Dennis. Whew! I don't think we realized how many relatives we had in the Phoenix area!
We had pretty decent weather, it was in the 60's and pretty sunny - it did rain one day, but that didn't deter us from our fun. We tried to do things that we couldn't do in MN, like go to the pool, run around outside, lay out in the driveway, eat Blue Bell (THE BEST) ice cream, go to Sonic, Peter Piper Pizza, among others. There was a lot of activity going on as AZ was preparing for the Super Bowl this coming weekend. It was nice to get to wear short sleeves and not have to bundle up just to walk outside. It was also fun to see Ford with his Great-Grandma Cory. He was so cute and would call her "Bamie Cory." I guess it's sort of like Grammy Cory. Hopefully we can return soon! Enjoy some pictures from our trip.

Ford riding the Merry-go-Round at Peter Piper Pizza. I think this is the first time he has actually liked riding one of these things while they are moving.

Stuck! Ford figuring out he is a little to big to slide off the chair under the arm rest. Poor baby!

Ford climbing trees! Or sitting in them. What a joy to be outside in the fresh air.

Poor little guy stuck in the arm of the chair. I can see myself saying the same thing though "hang on, let me grab my camera!".
