Memorial Day

We thought that Memorial Day was the beginning of summer here in MN - sun shining, warm weather, barbecues, maybe the pool or beach...um yeah. It was FREEzing yesterday. Well probably like 60 degrees, but it just did not feel warm and it wasn't sunny. Nevertheless we worked on a few projects: Eric trimmed the hedges, Grandma and Grandpa Townsend painted some doors for us and Uncle Alex put together a new swing for the backyard. I - proclaiming to be pregnant, stuck to the kitchen and made sure everyone had enough snacks, beverages, etc. We did enjoy a yummy bbq of kabobs and grilled veggies around the fire. And - we needed that fire to stay warm.
