US Women's Open Golf

I have been working at the US Women's Open all week and it has been a blast. I was assigned to the media center, which was awesome since I got to interact with the media. I did have some mundane tasks of copying and holding microphones, but had much more direct access with the players than most volunteers. My favorite thing was working in the "flash" area which is where the players were interviewed immediately after they came off the course. I got to take some notes on player comments for the USGA and they actually put my notes with their transcripts for all the media to see! Eric and Ford stopped by the tourney today to check things out. You can't have cameras or cell phones on the course, so we couldn't really take any pics of the golf action.
