Today we headed out to the Great MN Get Together - The State Fair! It was super crowded with people, but luckily none of the lines were too long. We met up with Uncle Alex and Rachel and tried to check out as much of the fair as we could! Ford liked looking at the animals - except for some reason he did not want to see the cows. We walked into the dairy barn and he was like, "get out, get out," and started crying. Maybe they were just a little too big and noisy? I don't know - he never has seemed afraid of the stock at the ranch! We tasted lots of yummy things: pronto pups, alligator, french fries, lemonade, cheese curds, mini donuts, frozen grapes...key word was tasted - we didn't want to get sick. We also visited the "Kidway" where Ford got to try out a bunch of different rides, I think he really enjoyed that. All in all it was a fun time! We shuttled to and from the fair from the U of M on a bus - that could have been Ford's favorite part of the whole thing.
