This morning Eric's truck was hit while parked in the street in front of our house. We had both heard a noise while eating breakfast around 8am or so, but I thought it was some things falling over in Landry's room because I had just been stacking up some boxes. Not the case. Wouldn't you know, Eric went to leave for work and his truck's two wheels were in our front yard - his truck had been JACKED! The culprit had escaped! We aren't sure what happened, but assume that whoever slammed on their brakes, wasn't paying attention and slid on the ice right into the truck. They could have at least had the common sense to let us know. The truck has some damage, wasn't drivable because the front right tire came off the rim, the back left passenger door won't open, etc. Luckily our insurance company is great and they are taking care of everything. They truck got picked up this afternoon and EY is getting a rental tomorrow. If you see anyone driving around Hopkins with a jacked up front end of their car, let them know that they forgot part of their bumper, headlight, and blinker in front of our house!

Bye Bye Truck! On the Tow Truck!

Ford is enamored with the tow truck

Lot of broken stuff on the ground - mostly belonging to the culprit!

Nice scrapes, passenger door doesn't open

Oops! What's up with the tire?
