We headed to the Phoenix Zoo for a little animal adventure. Their zoo is a little older, but it has some neat features. Kids can ride their bikes, which I thought was really fun. They always seem to get tired of walking around. They had a nice kids area, petting zoo, and playground - so that was where we headed first. They also had an awesome splashpad mountain/cave/waterfall thing - which I guess you need to have when it is so HOT in the desert! We didn't go in that one because it looked a little to big for Landry, but they did have another splashpad for younger children, which appeased both of the kiddos. Ford really liked the giraffes and zebras, two animals we visited while Landry was snoozing in the stroller!
Giraffes! Landry was sleeping, so Ford went up in the observation tower all by himself!
Brown bagging our lunch
Landry at the Fisher Price "farm"
Ford sure loves tractors!
Zoo splashpad. It was almost 90 degrees!
Cherry SNO-Cone. YUM!
